The following is an interesting Excert from the book Goldat, by Lewis E. Cook, Jr. & Junkp Yasui


“It has been found that a group of rats were fed diet of raw vegetables, fruits, nuts and whole grains from birth grew into completely healthy specimens and never suffered from any disease. They were never ill. They grew rapidly, but never became fat, mated with enthusiasm and had healthy offspring. They were always gently affectionate and playful and lived in perfect harmony with each other. Upon reaching an old age, equivalent to 80 years in humans, these rats were put to death and autopsied. At that advanced age their organs, glands, tissues all body processes appeared to be in perfect condition without any sign of aging or deterioration.


“A companion group of rats we fed a diet comparable to that of the average American and included white bread, cooked foods, meats, milk, salt, soft drinks, candies, cakes, vitamins and other supplements, medicines for their ails, etc. During their lifetime these rats became fat and, from the earliest age, contracted most of the diseases of modern American society including colds, fever, pneumonia, poor vision, cataracts, heart disease, arthritis, cancer and many more.“Most of this group died prematurely at early ages but during their lifetime most of them were vicious, snarling beasts, fighting with one another stealing one another’s food and attempting to kill each other. They had to be kept apart to prevent total destruction of the entire group.


Their offspring were all sick and exhibited the same general characteristics as there parents.“As this group of rats died one by one or in epidemics or various diseases, autopsies were performed revealing extensive degenerative conditions in every part of their bodies. All organs, glands and tissues were affected, as were the skin, hair, blood and nervous system. They were all truly total physical and nervous wrecks. The same condition existed in the few, which survived full duration of the experiment.


“A third companion group of rats was fed the same diet as the second group to an age equivalent to about 40 years in humans. They displayed the same general symptoms of the second group – being sick and vicious so that they had to be separated to prevent them from killing each other and stealing one another food.“At the end of this initial period all rats in this group were placed on a strict fast, with of water to drink for a period of several days. Then they received the natural (raw) diet o first group of rats.


This diet was alternated with periods of fast and within one mouth behavioral pattern had changed completely so that the now docile, affectionate, playful creatures were once again able to live together in a harmonious society and from this point on never suffered any illness.“Several rates put to death and autopsied at the end of the initial period revealing the same general deterioration as that exhibited in the second group of rats. However, the remaining rats lived out the full duration of the experiment, to the equivalent of 80 years in humans, and when they were topside there were no signs of aging or deterioration or disease - just as those in the first group.


The obvious disease, degeneration and deterioration of body parts evident in their first half of life had been completely reversed and excellent health restored. “The same principles apply to human life as there is only one TRUTH! Thus it may be concluded that sick people may be restored to health simply by choosing the proper diet, fasting observing the other rules of health. There is no mystery. A raw food dehydrator can be considered to be the equivalent of a raw food oven. This process takes the water out but leaves the phytonutrients intact when used below 112 degree's. You do not really need it however this contraption allows for more diverse recipes and has the advantage of being able to make preservable NUTRIENT food. You can easily make more nutrient dense lasagna, pizza,cookies, breads,burgers and even raw food crackers or corn chips. All with the nutrient content in tact. The Nine Basic Rules of Proper Food Combining by Dr. Herbert M. Shelton:


1. Eat acids and starches at separate meals. Acids neutralize the alkaline medium required for starch digestion and the result is fermentation and indigestion.


2. Eat protein foods and carbohydrate foods at separate meals. Protein foods require an acid medium for digestion.

3. Eat but one kind of protein food at a meal.


4. Eat proteins and acid foods at separate meals. The acids of acid foods inhibit the secretion of the digestive acids required for protein digestion.Undigested protein putrefies in bacterial decomposition and produces some potent poisons


5. Eat fats and proteins at separate meals. Some foods, especially nuts, are over 50% fat and require hours for digestion.


6. Eat sugars (fruits) and proteins at separate meals.


7. Eat sugars (fruits) and starchy foods at separate meals. Fruits undergo no digestion in the stomach and are held up if eaten with foods that require digestion in the stomach.

8. Eat melons alone. They combine with almost no other food.


9. Desert the desserts. Eaten on top of meals they lie heavy on the stomach, requiring no digestion there, and ferment. Bacteria turn them into alcohols and vinegars and acetic acids.

The consensus on the raw food breakfast is to stick to eating only fruit, smoothies or juices which can be either vegetable or fruit. Your daily diet must include fresh fruits, nuts, vegitables, salads and sprouts. A large green salad once a day is a good strategy.This gives you many options. It is not advised to combine fruit types or fruit with another food type. Fruits digest the fastest, for example melons should always be eated alone as they digest the fastest. This is why they don't blend well with other foods. If you do combine them, eat the fruit first and on an empty stomach.


Greens,sprouts and vegetables will combine well together. Avocado will be the only exception that will combine well with most fruits and vegetables. It is important to drink fresh vegetable or fruit juices on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before any other food. Fluids digest quickly and it is important as they dilute the digestive enzymes.

Raw food with 10% meat


First and foremost, organically farmed meat is our only choice for ethical responsibility to the environment, ourselves and animals. To reach the most diverse audience as possible you can enhance your current meat dishes with RAW FOOD added. This 10% meat concept WITH RAW FOOD is to have a reduced meat dish but preserve the quantity of the dish and will fill you up. This combination has greater health benefits and allows access to the essential nutrients that only raw food can provide.


Yourself and a typical restaurant menu can enhance a typical DULL meat by using this concept.

By picture it, Panacea means EVALUATE the non renewable energy source used to create the meat, the concept of the chemicals, the unethical farming conditions, the FAT content, the knowledge that comes with the involved industry and dish from eating it (nothing healthy). By simply ordering this steak you are basically saying via the result and education involved, give me a toxic chemical cocktail that gives me no indication of the health effects and is created by unethical practice, plus one that was produced using energy sources and chemicals which are counter productive to my children's future. Simple enough?


Now let’s look at the nutritional comparison we can assimilate into a more advanced dish by using the EDUCATIONAL concept provided by Panacea, whilst still keeping the same theme of a mushroom steak asthetically

First we will look at how we replace the chips and vegiatables with superiour raw food vegitables, then we simply mix 10% of the meat with a vegetarian "meat" base together. The result a reduced meat content with more exotic tasting vegitable combinations and peak nutrition. Examples of the Bases to fuse with together with the meat (reduced to 10%), and make a full steak and or meat patty are:

New Quorn mince which is described by all that tried it in the survey that you cannot taste the difference to meat. New Quorn mince has all the texture and taste of beef mince which means not only will your favorite recipes taste delicious but, as Quorn mince is low in fat, you'll also be serving a healthier meal. In fact Quorn mince contains 2.8g of fat per 100g compared with beef mince which contains over 15g of fat per 100g.

Quorn products are made from myco-protein which is a mushroom protein, it is produced by a process of fermentation similar to the process used when making yogurt.

There are a few more varieties that can be chosen and tailored nutritionally for this task, but we have with these examples a basic idea. Now a back round on other ingredients we will be using to assimilate the mushroom theme into the dish whilst keeping the aesthetic mushroom steak qualities.



Nutritionally, quinoa might be considered a super grain--although it is not really a grain, but the seed of a leafy plant that's distantly related to spinach. Quinoa has excellent reserves of protein, and unlike other grains, is not missing the amino acid lysine, so the protein is more complete (a trait it shares with other "non-true" grains such as buckwheat and amaranth). 

The World Health Organization has rated the quality of protein in quinoa at least equivalent to that in milk. Quinoa offers more iron than other grains and contains high levels of potassium and riboflavin, as well as other B vitamins: B6, niacin, and thiamin. It is also a good source of magnesium, zinc, copper, and manganese, and has some folate (folic acid). 



Cardamom, sometimes called Grains of Paradise, is a pungent, aromatic herb first used around the eighth century, and is a native of India. It was probably imported into Europe around A.D. 1214.A stimulant and carminative, cardamom is not used in Western medicine for it own properties, but forms a flavoring and basis for medicinal preparations for indigestion and flatulence using other substances, entering into a synergetic relationship with them. The Arabs attributed aphrodisiac qualities to it (it features regularly in the Arabian Nights) and the ancient Indians regarded it as a cure for obesity. It has been used as a digestive since ancient times. A medicinal (perhaps aphrodisiac) cordial can be made by macerating seeds in hot water.

The meat is organic and the mushroom steak(10% meat weighed out) is then mixed into the vegetarian paty base, this still looks like a whole steak in appearance and tastes like it. It also will fill you up the same.

Panacea used vegetable protein strips as part of the meat base and simply created a reduced meat content into the mix. Can you tell the difference? Now picture replacing the typical cooked veggies from the first picture with the diversity of raw food vegetables or salads. You cannot compare this with the typical mushroom steak, not in taste diversity or nutritional content.

On holy days, Thai people visit local Buddhist temples and donate food and provisions to the monks in residence. In a holy ritual at day's end, the monks bestow the donors with health, prosperity, and tranquility, but ask them to adhere, at least for a day, to five simple rules for living a peaceful life. One of these rules is to refrain from killing all creatures, both large and small. By extension of this rule, Thai people eat vegetarian meals during these holy days.
