A company called Focus Fusion has discovered an interesting alternative energy breakthrough, and instead of receiving accolades and congratulations from the Los Alamos Laboratory, they were ordered to recant their discovery, because that discovery interfered with the giant Tokomaks being built by the government, costing billions of dollars and over 50 years in construction, with NOT ONE WATT OF ENERGY being produced during that entire 50year period. Source.

This is the kind of 'government' suppression experienced by most 'novelty of fact' researchers, who while working for the government on related projects, attempt to simplify and adjust a more probably alternative approach, instead of encouragement, receive threats of being fired, for their audacity to improve the energy plight of the worldwide community. 

And they are then told to recant their discoveries, and remove their names from research papers associated with that new 'novelty of fact' discovery. Governments are supposed to be representative of the will of the people who support them, instead, governments are controlled by the Corporations who have formed cartels from the largesse they have received from government contracts.

Nations will either ALL work together on these newer 'novelty of fact' discoveries, or we will find ourselves 'scrambling' for scarce and very limited energy resources.
